| 445690 | 2006-04-11 05:07:00 | I have noticed that in the last week or so whenever I go to www.google.com I get redirected to www.google.com.au. It used to go to www.google.co.nz. This is happening on all the machines here at work, with Firefox and IE. Anyone else having the same problem? |

I checked anyway and still set to New Zealand. Anyway I thought Google would detect your region by your IP address?? |

| 445697 | 2006-04-11 07:08:00 | Yep it's ihug. Then that will explain it, as ihug is also based in Australia & I think your company might have got an ip address that is based in Australia & Google thinks your from Australia. That’s my thought of what’s happing :) |

Edit the file google.src in the directory: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins change the URL in one of the lines to the following: action="www.google.co.nz launch firefox. |
