| 446281 | 2006-04-14 19:03:00 | My connection speed is now 338 kilobytes sec. according to the test on Ihugs page. Last week I was connecting at about 160 with a DSE USB modem. When I installed a Billion ethernet modem I jumped to about 220. This morning I am on 338. Looks like I am now upgraded to their lates connection. Is 338 what I should get on a 3.5 gig plan. | 446282 | 2006-04-14 20:50:00 | That's looking good, but looking at the Ihug speed test, they are only using 512kB file size for measuring speed. That is too low really to get a reasonably representative figure, a few megabytes would be better. | Terry Porritt (14) | ||
| 446283 | 2006-04-14 22:37:00 | Those tests are unreliable. I'm on a 2mb plan and tested my speed on 2 differant NZ sites, one site gave me a reading of 800kbps and another about 1900kbps. Go figure. Trevor :) |
