| 446778 | 2006-04-16 23:03:00 | The files for restoring a compaq notebook reside on the System_Sav partition, can i launch the recovery process from one of these files without the recovery cd, i have noticed the partition is FAT32 and booting to dos lets me see lots of executable files one that appears to start running is xqr.exe but eventually stops on please wait. | Skinnerjack (59) | ||

| 446781 | 2006-04-17 22:28:00 | gidday yes I know the acer laptops will recover from the partition, without using the discs. Close the computer down, reboot and tap F10 it will give instructions from there. If F10 doesn't work, try alt+F10 good luck, Robby |
