| 446432 | 2006-04-16 23:42:00 | Ive got a pioneer dual layer here and its wont write cds and read dvds, gonna take it back to the shop next week. Ive also got an older pioneer dvd rom and its a peice of ****. I wouldn't touch a pioneer driver ever again. Also used a lite-on drive afer reading good reviews but they werent as good as they were made out to be. The best optical drives ive ever used were LG, ASUS and Samsung. May be something wrong with ur pc. or ur not installing them properly. may u just have a badluck with these good brands. |

How do you install an optical drive incorrectly? These drives have both been through several windows installations and different software. The DVD-RW worked fine for the first few weeks and only recently has started misbehaving. |
