446444 2006-04-19 09:19:00 If i had to install XP 64bit then should i boot the cd & setup.
becase i want to install xp64bit on D:/ although my winxp pro 32bit is on c:/ rite now.

446445 2006-04-19 09:32:00 I think it'll be better, doing a clean install onto D. Not from within XP itself.

Hopefully D will get added to boot.ini which is on C, so u can see/ use either XP 32 bit or XP 64 bit. When the system boots.

446446 2006-04-20 07:27:00 Ru sure i will get the selection for xp32bit & 64bit at the start up?.
Because if my current setup is unacessable and i repair it, it will mess up since i have sp1a installed.

No, I'm not . As I've never done it myself (dual boot) . And dont intend to .

BUT thats WHAT'S meant to happen .

So you can select whichever OS, before either OS actually boot up .

Otherwise, how would you get into XP 64 bit??
