446901 2006-04-17 05:44:00 I have some audio Cd's that have some video files on them. Used to be able to play the clips but now only the audio tracks show up. How can I get to see these extra files? karlv (10230)
446902 2006-04-19 22:36:00 Can anyone help? karlv (10230)
446903 2006-04-19 23:32:00 Not exactly sure if this will help you but an easy way that I use to find my files is to group them by type. So audio files will show under a heading like mp3 and video will show under mpg etc.

ok the way to do it in Windows Explorer (or My computer) would be, from the toolbar at the very top.

Click on view, and choose ICONS
Click on view again, goto ARRANGE ICONS BY and then choose TYPE
Click on view again, goto ARRANGE ICONS BY and then choose SHOW IN GROUPS.

If in explorer you were vewing the contents of your CD, these will not be arranged by type and shown in groups.

If this doesn't solve your problem then I would take that CD to another comp and check to see if the files are there at all.

446905 2006-04-21 00:43:00 It's probably to do with the Autoplay settings on CD/DVD drive.

If youre' using WinXP - In Explorer, right click on the drive you're trying to play the CD, select Properties & then Autoplay.

It sounds like your autoplay is turned off since your CD player ignores the data track on the CD & jumps to the audio. Not sure which of the settings in Autoplay you need to enable as I have it turned off - it's damned annoying in XP!
