447438 2006-04-19 01:45:00 I have the settings for Outlook email arranged to play a sound alert when a new email arrives. The sound plays OK, but it's too quiet. Is there some way I can increase its volume (other than changing the volume setting on the monitor, which is just set just right for everything else I use sound for)? colmack (2939)
447439 2006-04-19 03:55:00 I think not.
Find a louder wav file... :)

447440 2006-04-19 04:21:00 I thought of trying that, too, but I don't know where to find the wav file Outlook uses. I thought it would be in Application Data/Microsoft/Outlook, but it isn't. Does anyone know? colmack (2939)
447441 2006-04-19 06:36:00 Go to Control Panel/sounds audio/sounds tab.
Look for new mail notification option.
Choose your favourite wav file from either the system folder or any other folder you have your wavs in.
