After selecting "Turn off" we get a message that says 'Running logoff scripts" - and then it sits there for a fair while then closes down .... eventually. Probably not problem but I would just like to understand why? tks George |

It alleviates the need for everyone to have a account on each computer they may possibly work on with a seperate set of rules created for each account. I have that set-up at my office. It does slow down the log-on log-off process, but the best thing you can do is to make sure the local user files are clean... first, in window's explorer, click tools>folder options then click the tab that says View, and look for, andmake sure 'Show Hidden Files' is selected...this will show the space stealers then Navigate to: C:Documents and Settings/<user name>/Local Settings, Empty everything you can from temperary internet files, Temperary files, History, and if you have a temp folder, delete that as well...next time she reboots, it should be much faster. |
