| 447114 | 2006-04-18 00:24:00 | My broadband speeds have gone up to about 300KB/sec which is very nice, but at the same time, my newsgroup client is now frequently experiencing long delays in connecting, like a minute or more before the connect is made. Once made, the speed is good, but then, if I reply to a news message, the newsreader just sits there for a minute or more waiting for Xtra to accept the upload. I don't have the same delays when on the net in my browser, so I am wondering if Xtra has allocated a low priority to news groups which is costing me considerable time waiting for connects. Anyone else have the same experience? |
