| 447942 | 2006-04-20 09:42:00 | Hey there, ill give you the run down, and we will see if we can go from there Its an Custom Spec Athlon 64 3000+, 1gb of ram, Dual 80gb SATA drives etc Running : Windows XP Professional SP2 (Legit too) I have recently migrated hard drives from a 120gb HDD to dual 80gb SATAs but im still getting the same problem, the problem is, when i have the drive that has all my tv episodes and short vid clips open, it comes up with a data execution error with windows explorer, now i have disabled DEP (data execution protection) but i still get the same error, it makes navigating the hard drive (or partition) very difficult, the error i get is this EventType : BEX P1 : explorer.exe P2 : 6.0.2900.2180 P3 : 41107ece P4 : unknown P5 : 0.0.0.0 P6 : 00000000 P7 : 01f5c1f0 P8 : c0000005 P9 : 00000008 i have searched on the net, and apparently it has something to do with codec packs, i uninstalled my codec packs, and installed vlc player, but im still getting the same error. any ideas before i resort to reformatting windows? Cheers in Advance Jared |

| 447945 | 2006-04-20 10:57:00 | Try moving the movie files away to another HDD. And removed the codec pack and restart the PC and reinstall the codec packs see if it works or try file fixing software or window surface scan or something. | MTLance (6768) | ||
