448246 2006-04-21 20:49:00 My first and most annoying problem is with my sound card. Every time that I boot into Windows I have to reinstall the drivers; however with my Linux partition this isn't the case - it's PNP.

P.S. The card is an onboard Realtek.

My second problem is with my Taskbar and Start Menu properties. For some odd reason I can not select the caption to enable quick launch; it's faded out. I took a screenshot to illustrate the problem:

My third and final problem is with my time properties. Each time I reboot my system the clock goes back one hour, so instead of it being 00:00 it'd be 23:00. I've configured it to not synchronize with an internet server, but the problem still occurs.

Thanks in advance.

Whats the brand/model of the motherboard?

I'll see what I can find out, about this one.

Get the file in my sig below. Looks like malware can do this.

Try changing the battery on the motherboard. It maybe going flat.

Where did you get the drivers from? Download them to make sure you have the latest - you can get it from your motherboard manufacturers website .

HAve you got TweakUI - thats normally caused by turning it off from there .

Daylight saving setting? Wrong country set?

1)support.microsoft.com

2)But I didn't know that ;)
It may be battery but I'd suspect the board. Download the chipset drivers while you're getting the REaltek ones.
