| 448192 | 2006-04-21 05:44:00 | Last Week I checked my download speed with Xtra's 1 Mb download file and it was 41.44 Kb/sec. I just did a check now and it is 344 Kb/sec. Is this about average for the increased broadband speed we have been promised and is it comparable with overseas broadband speeds ? |

| 448193 | 2006-04-21 05:48:00 | Around 400 kilobytes/s for a 3.5 Mbps connection is around the most you will get. You won't see that on most websites that are hosted overseas though. We are down in the bottom of the OECD for broadband speed. And don't get me started on the piddly 128 K upload speed..... |
