448681 2006-04-23 05:15:00 knowing which model you have might help...

anyway, check out the aussie drivers site (www.canon.com.au) a follow the link for your model. As well as drivers (which are newer i.e. you probably want to download them), there are faqs about reinstalling the twain driver for windows 98...

448682 2006-04-23 05:19:00 I would uninstall Photostitch and that Zoombrowser thing . If these are installed .

Then install the drivers first . Then Photostitch and Zoombrowser after .

Only thing is, according to this ( . dpreview . com/forums/readflat . asp?forum=1010&message=16821848&changemode=1" target="_blank">forums . dpreview . com)

Which is about another Canon cam, you may have to go into the registry and delete the Photostitch entry/entries . Since if u install Photostitch again, it may say its already installed .

Do you need these 2 programs??

Wouldn't Irfanview ( . irfanview . com) or Picasa (http://picasa . google . com/" target="_blank">www . irfanview . com) or Picasa (http:) detect the cam, after you install the drivers for it??

Thats if u havent got some kind of graphics program installed already .

448684 2006-04-23 05:49:00 yo, just where in the registry would I find it . cheers .

Go to start/run . Type regedit . Search for Photostitch . . .

Then delete the entry / entries for it (after u uninstall it first) .

I would try Irfanview or Picasa . They may do the same thing .

All you have to do, is install the drivers .
