| 448685 | 2006-04-23 03:15:00 | I have a friend who has just purchased a digital camera. She didn't realize she would need 98SE to interface it with her older PC. She currently has only Win98. I checked out card readers as an alternative way of getting her pics into the PC but the readers also require 98SE as a minimum. So...I'm on the lookout for Win98SE, which is probably fairly scarce these days. It needs to be a full legal version. If anyone has a now-unused OS of that vintage floating around please let me know. Happy to pay for it. PM me if you can help. Thanks. |

| 448690 | 2006-04-23 06:27:00 | Braindead.......... seeing as you already have W98, is it not possible to get a free upgrade/update off the Microsoft site? PJ | Poppa John (284) | ||
| 448691 | 2006-04-23 06:32:00 | Thanks PJ - I hadn't thought of that. I'll investigate. :) PS - I see that 98SE is a paid upgrade. Not to worry. |
