| 1401649 | 2015-05-30 22:24:00 | Have finally installed Nod32! There seems to have lots settings in the 'Advanced setup' menu. Is there anything in particular that I need to change from the default settings? Cheers |

Setup when I want it to do a full scan (mine is Sunday, once a week) Notifications : I tell it to shut up about Windows auto updates being off And how it notifies you, text, sound and stuff like tool tips etc... Thats about it. |

BUT its waiting in line to convert 36 minutes till it starts. Its a fresh install Of Nod32, never been rolled bowled or ar**Holed:eek: Its how I set them up, I had to slow down to 1/4 speed as I normally go through the tasks a lot quicker. SWMBO insisted we have a few drinks earlier :D, so right at the end I had to double check I had done one task. If you dont want to wait for the online version, its also been uploaded to www.filefactory.com Its 11MB in WMV format. Plays fine in Windows Media Player. To Download it, click the above link - Scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the right - Slow Download - Wait 30 Seconds -- Dodge any popups, and after the timer finished a download link appears. I'll post the link to the online version when its available. You'll see I untick some items and tick others, as well as adjust other settings. When Setting up a System Scan ( call it what ever you like) you set the time and day that suits yourself, as long as the computer is on it will scan at that time. Back to the drink pouring, someones complaining her glass is empty. :wub |

It takes longer, but I've found its not really needed, as when it does a "first Scan" which I leave ticked, it does a full scan anyway. Personally even though its set to scan weekly mine never finds anything as its already stopped any infections. Even running other antimalware programs they all come back clean. |
