| 1401326 | 2015-05-28 23:46:00 | bought xt894. $85nz ebay. operates on 2g/3g frequencies supported by vodafone supernet. vodafone cannot unlock it (due to them not having sold it), directed me to unlocking companies. which one? im in christchurch. also found a bigger battery for it, though at 90usd it can wait till later. mugen.co apparently i need some special screwdriver to undo the battery. |

Additionally, unlocking a device may enable some functionality of the device but not all (e.g., an unlocked device may support voice services but not data services when activated on a different network).
