| 1401193 | 2015-05-22 15:01:00 | error 895 BSOD error 333 Blue screen Toll free phone number to call Don't re-boot or shut off your computer This is a laptop I called Microsoft and they said you might have to take it to a shop and will cost about $300 or we will have one of our tech work about 4 hours with you to solve the problem for $200. Has anyone ever herd of this before. Of course I re-booted and it was just fine and am doing another scan. |

This subject has been brought up hundreds of times. DONT believe those false lab test results from sites. Next week it will be something else that's the best. if you went to 10 different sites you would get 10 different results as to whats the Best. Go by what real users in the real world say and use. While NO AV is perfect, a lot of those results are simply fake. Any one in a controlled Lab condition can make the results out to what ever they feel like. If you want to put on a AV that's a system hog, misses a lot of infections, often breaks and totally disables your internet & computer, then by all mean use Crap A fee. |

First step is to stop getting the Malware in the first place,unchecky I find is a good place to start http://unchecky.com/ (even though I untick somethings there is always some sneaky ones that get through that unchecky get) Malware bytes Premium trips others up while installing (malwarebytes was offered over a year ago free for a while which I got family members onto) not free anymore though A good anti virus that also scans email(usually not free) |

You called the number they gave you, right? Guaranteed to be a scam. Microsoft has never put their phone number in a BSOD. Call the *real* Microsoft phone number and they will have never heard of BSOD 333, because it doesn't exist... |
