1401068 2015-05-20 03:49:00 Is it still poor website design to have email address's visible on the main page & sub-pages.
Just re bots scraping webpages for adresses to spam .

Or have things moved past that now & no longer makes any difference ?

Cheers

1401069 2015-05-20 04:42:00 On my own site, there are no email addresses visible. On the Contact Page there are fields that have to be filled in to send me a Email, including a capture. Only ever got 1-2 spam mails from my site over the last 10 years and even then they had to be physically filled out by a user. wainuitech (129)

Just put them in the page footer.

1401071 2015-05-23 13:13:00 Use forms. Not only are the email addresses not exposed, but the viewer does not have to use, or set up an Email client. mzee (3324)
