1401031 2015-05-19 10:57:00 When I turn ON this HP laptop (HP Probook 4540s), I am greeted with this login password screen:

64826483

How do I remove or disable this? I have got the password to log in; it's just annoying.

1401032 2015-05-19 12:08:00 Looks like possibly a setting in the HP Protect Tools and even possibly encryption is enabled on the hard drive and that's why it needs the password before Windows can boot. CYaBro (73)
1401033 2015-05-19 20:22:00 I replaced the original HDD with a SSD which made no difference to the log in password request. bk T (215)

1401035 2015-05-19 20:36:00 That's an option in the BIOS (h20564.www2.hp.com). It has nothing to do with Windows Speedy Gonzales (78)
