1389517 2014-12-04 06:24:00 Anyone seen the new interface for Ccleaner its up to version 5 and it looks very retro. I think they might have been trying to emulate the Windows kindy screen look. :punk gary67 (56)
1389518 2014-12-04 06:54:00 Yeah been using it since it came out --- first thought was okkkaaayyyyyyyy , its the way a lot of programs are going. First thing I do is disable the automatic monitoring. ( dont need even more programs running in the background) wainuitech (129)
1389519 2014-12-04 06:57:00 CCleaner haven't done a very good job of the UI...

I thought that was rather ironic when it told me it was still running :p

I agree wainuitech, I disable the monitoring as well, enough going on either in the background or "in your face" with a lot of apps these days.....

1389522 2014-12-04 08:54:00 Like a fair few applications now, updated to an unusable level. Google are getting pretty good at fixing quite satisfactory programs until they get infuriating. I suppose these CEO vultures see how much Ballmer and his follower get for replacing dumb with dumber and want to get a bit of the action. Doesn't Apple have a patent on that sort of nonsense? LLJust updated mine. I see there is "Active Monitoring" and "System Monitoring" I presume you disable both.?

1389524 2014-12-05 02:52:00 Just updated mine. I see there is "Active Monitoring" and "System Monitoring" I presume you disable both.? I do, it appears some of the features only work with the pro version. Personally mine gets run a couple of times a day so no need to monitor :) wainuitech (129)
1389525 2014-12-05 03:52:00 I preferred the old interface. It matched my Win 7 better with the transparency and rounded corners. :P Can't help thinking the new UI looks like beta software... unfinished sort of. catspyjamas (15614)
1389526 2014-12-05 05:14:00 Yup I dont use monitoring either. Even tho I brought the Pro version. I'm not that lazy :p Speedy Gonzales (78)
