| 1390220 | 2014-12-16 03:00:00 | No surprise to see that the Australian Police have something in common with the Americans. All brawn and no brains! Here we had a lone gunman in a building with several exits and windows. So the brains of the force decide that the best way to deal with the situation was to try cramming several armed men through one doorway and spray the room with bullets, and to use stun grenades instead of teargas. The whole thing could have been sorted without a single shot, simply by filling the building with gas. Once everyone was subdued they could walk in and pick up the pieces. |

Both CN and CS are irritants -- they irritate mucous membranes in the eyes, nose, mouth and lungs, and cause tearing, sneezing, coughing, etc.. So people want to get the hell out of its location. The gunman could have simply let lose in the dark, the lights in the café were off, it was 2am in Aust , killing more people. Then they all could have possibly come out what ever exits were available trying to get away from the gas. Its so funny how many armchair experts pop up out of the woodwork after the event ;) |

| 1390226 | 2014-12-16 08:49:00 | No, Churchill wanted to get rid of them, well so did most of the allies at the time..... I wasn't aware that W S Churchill was that old, the Crusades being well before my time. I have read many of of his writings, including all 12 volumes of his "History of the English Speaking Peoples", the six volume "History of the Second World War" and a book of his speeches. In none of these did I read of any desire by him or our allies to 'get rid of Muslims,' in fact there is a quote to the contrary in my original post. Above all, he was opposed to prejudice. I have no doubt that he would have continued to reject Muslim radicals, as he wrote of and I referred to in my earlier post, but he would have fought to his last breath against outright prejudice against muslims as he did to rid the world of Hitler and Nazism. He warned the world long before Hitler was a threat, but by the time they learned to listen, it was too late, and as a consequence millions died on the battlefields, in the concentration camps and simply of starvation, the latter in Russia in particular. Billy All it takes for evil to triumph, is for good people to do nothing! |
