| 1401491 | 2015-05-28 05:59:00 | You've just answered your own question haven't you? ;) The USB socket on the printer is a USB B type - looks like this (images.hardwarezone.com). So you must have a standard USB A to B cable (eg - a USB printer cable (www.usbgear.com)) that currently runs from the printer to your PC. The modem has a standard USB socket (USB A type) - you can just remove the cable from your PC, and plug it into the modem. And then follow the instructions to get the PC talking to the printer once it's all plugged in. |

That's the easy part, anyway. Then you just have to hope the modem's print host functionality, well, functions. |

| 1401497 | 2015-05-29 06:12:00 | W... I put the printer disc into this ASUS W8.1 Laptop & it would not install. No Drivers . So I go to MS & no drivers available. So end of story. Thanks. PJ | Poppa John (284) | ||
| 1401498 | 2015-05-29 07:41:00 | Did you do what was suggested on page 3 that wratterus posted above. Make sure the printer is connected to the wifi/modem & is turned on. I'm not familiar with your modem or printer & I'm not too good at explaining things but. On my setup I logged into the modem & found the printer under the sharing tab. I was able to get the correct address from there. Once that is added, you work your way through & then windows should find the correct driver. |

PJ Dont go using the CD, you may find its outdated and doesn't have W8.1 drivers. You ALWAYS go to the manufactures site and get the latest drivers. Click on the following link, and here are W8.1 drivers download.ebz.epson.net Sometimes the Driver install will have network install options, if so use that with the printer connected to the Modem, it usually will find it on its own. If not then you have to install the printer directly Via the USB as per normal, then once thats working THEN attach the printer to the modem following Wratts instructions for W8 to redirect to the correct path. |
