1401315 2015-05-25 22:07:00 Fixing this is on the list, but it has gone down in priority since my house alarm went on the fritz yesterday and started going off at random intervals. It seems to be behaving as though it is permanently activated. It looks like the controller board might have gone bung and of course they are no longer manufactured. My electrician is currently looking to see if he can source one otherwise it looks like I may be up for a whole new system. Just what I need at the moment. Tony (4941)
1401316 2015-05-28 23:06:00 ah well, your drive in that case may be perfectly fine.

i have had very strange happenings occurring recently. from money appearing in empty pockets to a laptop with a white screen during installation of windows being remedied by momentarily connecting a monitor (briefly killed the monitor). i went to sleep when the white screen reared its ugly white mug, owner was none too comfortable the next morning. refreshed from my slumber i plugged in a monitor in an effort to troubleshoto the screen. AND SHE JUST WORKS LOLOLOLOL.

1401318 2015-05-29 02:24:00 The electrician came again this morning, checked there was no water in the outside alarm box (there wasn't), connected everything up again, and whadya know - it all worked perfectly, and has done ever since. I'm not sure whether to be pleased about it working, or worried because we haven't found a root cause. The good news is that if it does turn out be a faulty board, the sparky can get his hands on another one. Tony (4941)
