1390294 2014-12-16 21:21:00 For what it's worth many people have tried to get the bail laws and early release changed but the bleeding hearts always win so the crap like above happens. It's happened in NZ as well when people out on bail go and kill someone. Nothing will change here until some politicians family member gets killed and then they might do something but until then nothing will change..

The answer is simple.
Every time something bad is done by the people on bail (and parole for that matter), the people who let out them should be held to account.

Beheading would do the trick.

A mentally unwell man who stabbed an Opunake father to death believed his victim was a "snake person" and part of group of people living in the coastal town who conspired against him.

Shiloh Dallas Mareikura had a previous history of threats against his victim, Opunake father Desroe Bishop, and had been banned from the town, but was given leave to attend a tangi there by Corrections, on the day before the murder.

A wee bit off-topic... but...

That seems way over the top if they were riding on their own land (i.e. not on a public road). But I guess a farm is defined as a business, so the OSH rules (written to cater for idiots) get applied/enforced. But by the same token - sharemilking in Marlborough? How not-flat would that farm be??? Quad bikes, if no care is taken, are really only dangerous on hills...

I never wore a helmet riding a quad bike OR a trike OR a farm bike when I stayed on my cousin's farm when I was younger (nor did my cousin) - and his farm in the Wairarapa, 1000 acres on paper, would have been 3 or 4 times that size if you flattened the hills out.

We are both still alive and kicking, despite doing silly things on those vehicles.

At least one was from the terrorist - that's what instigated the police storming of the building...
