1389611 2014-12-06 08:48:00 Pocket for storing all my login passwords
Battlenet authenticator for my blizzard account to stop those B@$tard hackers
Navfree for offline navigating (I prefer google maps when data is available though)
Spark app for checking usage etc - vodafone have one too
Kindle for when my actual kindle isn't handy
Toms hardware, Stuff, metservice, wifi analyser, burgerfuel, pricespy, QR code reader, Ebay, speedtest, Google sky map, compass, iprint & scan for brother printer, etc, etc

If you find yourself thinking "I wish there as an app for that.." search the store there probably is.

1389615 2014-12-07 07:26:00 Various NZ bank apps I have a couple easier to ATM and to split funds.
Most used probably Firefox and the builtin calendar, world clock etc.
AirNZ app.
AirNZ grabaseat.
Grouppon and Grabone. Android doesn't do Treatme.
Keep in contact with people overseas by WeChat and WhatsApp

AA Snartfuel is easy to use.
I wish NZ banks have sharebrokering app.
Not least the Gmail app and the default email app for my NZ ISP email. Things you don't wanna use on a work computer.

Very handy to have multiple notifications of numerous email accounts like how I take care of my parent's emails they cannot use computers. Notifications of grabaseat specials. Auto backup of cellphone camera pix to flickr, google and sky drive or whatever that is called now.

I have breakfast at work ... saves time to catch up 6.35 bus daily ... and on the bus I pay off my credit card etc... that calendar is priceless and the bank apps.

1389616 2014-12-07 21:11:00 Flashlight app. the one thats steals your personal info.
:-)

seriously, take a look at the permissions most of these apps want, then decide if you really want all these apps.
Does that app really need access to all your contacts, your mic & camera, does that app really need to be able to send txt's, does it really need internet access

1389617 2014-12-07 22:45:00 My really favourite apps - the ones that say "requires no special permissions" truly rare but they do exist. dugimodo (138)
