Ken :horrified "The silvereye colonised New Zealand from Australia in the 1850s, and is now one of New Zealands most abundant and widespread bird species. It is found throughout New Zealand and its offshore and outlying islands, occurring in most vegetated habitats, including suburban gardens, farmland, orchards, woodlands and forests. " And they are apparently especially tasty, hunter cat loves them, eats the entire thing, beak, feet and all. She's very good at keeping them off the grapes and strawberries. She also eats sparrows. Not interested in much else, she used to kill Thrushes and blackbirds but not anymore, guess they're not delicious. As for that flying rat, it's still bothering the other....awaiting arrival of my ammo via courier. |

Ken :horrified Over the last 20 years, the cats Ive owned all bought their killings inside So, 4 birds dead vs 100++ mice & rats . Get rid of all NZ cats (as Gareth Morgan wants) & watch what happens when rats get out of control. |
