| 1401356 | 2015-05-26 01:06:00 | hey guys.. havent used my laptop for a few weeks and now i have java is no longer working. have checked java is enabled in IE11 and Safari and in the java console ... tried updating it and when that didnt work i uninstalled and reinstalled it several times... one page did tell me i had older versions which i told it to fix deleted all the saved java downloads i had when i go to verify java page after installation nothing happens at all... no error message ..nothing have tried the manual download as well also this has just started happening as well ... when i open IE it has started to says this page cant be displayed...however if i click on the home button it displays just fine have run the microsoft malicious tool thing...plus malwarebytes... all clear there any ideas please?? hate this laptop enough without this garbage happening as well lol |

If not, just uninstall it & see how you get on. nakedsecurity.sophos.com Ive come across a few PC's that the java update & installer simply didnt work. Try running the installer as admin , download the installer 1st. Also, look out for crapware that java updater/installer sometimes tries to bundle in (Ask toolbar) . Allways untick that option. |

| 1401358 | 2015-05-26 01:41:00 | Make sure you uninstall ALL older versions then install 8 update 45 (java.com). Which is the latest version Use javara, (singularlabs.com) after you uninstall all the versions of Java that are installed before you reinstall it |
