As my contract is ending soon got referred to this other role. Attended the first interview with the HR Manager with my reporting manager etc. Then the callback from the agency and she said the employer now wants to swtich it to a 3 month contract and it might lead to a permanent role. I won't have annual leave, sick leave, I won't have paid for breaks, or employer contribution kiwisaver etc etc .. as I am an independent contractor. Do my own tax, pay ACC and indemnity insurance. So I said ok .. 3 months is ok but could they offer a contractor hourly rate and yet to get a response, haha. We have been told that they want to see how our response is like with this different approach and for them to look at their options again, all 8 applicants will have to have interview 2 this time with a even senior manager. |
