449052 2006-04-24 07:57:00 I have an SWF Opener that opens Flash files that I have saved off the Internet. Yesterday, I decided to move the folder containing all of these flash files, and when I did, they lost their association with the opener.
So, I go into folder options>>file types and choose swf files. Next I click Change and browse for the SWF Opener. Once I have found and selected it, I click open, but for some reason, it does not show up on the list of recommended or other programs.
Please tell me what I can do to get the swf files-SWF Opener association back. Thanks.

449053 2006-04-24 08:16:00 Not sure what is happening here, what you are doing sounds correct, in the interim, you should be able to right click the files and open them with Internet Explorer. zqwerty (97)
449054 2006-04-25 16:37:00 I really need to know what to do! I have the Opener, and I have the flash files. How do I associate them? Every time I do what is mentioned above, the Opener never shows up on the list. Please help! Chris815 (10270)
449055 2006-04-25 21:15:00 Right click file/open with/choose program/browse, found two thirds down the open with window/navigate to your location for the flash opener/tick always open with etc zqwerty (97)

I've tried to do that, but the SWF Opener doesn't show up on the Open With list!

449057 2006-06-02 11:31:00 Hi Chris* If you click the open with option at the bottom of the dialogue box, you should be able to browse to any location on your system. And, if successful, don't forget to tick the always use button...... Scouse (83)

Hi Scouse, thanks for your reply, but I'm afraid I've already tried that numerous time. The damn Opener never shows up on the list for me to be able to tick the always use button.

449059 2006-06-02 12:33:00 There is an option to BROWSE for it in the OpenWith dialogue you will find SWF Opener in C:\Program Files under UHT, I believe. Tick always open files of this type with zqwerty (97)
