| 449050 | 2006-04-25 05:44:00 | Heres a reason why its probablt pointless changing to another ISP: From another forum: "changed to Xnet today Yay, no more xtra! However.... my speed is low. "Your line speed is approximately 339.5 Kbps or 41.6 K bytes/sec." I phoned them up, and it's a problem Telecom (surprise surprise) is having with 'a large number of users outside the Auckland area.' No estimated time of fix, it's in Telecom's hands at the moment. " Yup gotta be telecom, Ive been with xnet for 6 weeks or so, I was on the 1meg plan and allways had very consistent speed, but since the speed increase like you i get anything from 433 kbps (54.1 KB/sec transfer rate) to 1576 kbps (197 KB/sec transfer rate). not good! :annoyed: |

All they care about is money, and as long as people are stupid enough to give it to them they are not going to change thier ways. So stop complaning and keep giving them your money and just live with it. |
