Noticed that zillion got the Best new site award. wow good work, but are we really going to use there site instead of trademe even if zillion is alot better? I signed up an account and tried selling on zillion, but there are way less questions asked, and heaps LESS bids on my auction, so i guess ill stay with trademe, lol since trademe sold everyone wants to be the next trademe! :dogeye: |

| 449968 | 2006-04-27 09:05:00 | Zillion will be fighting a tough battle. They will no doubt capture some market share...but whether that is enough to make the business profitable who knows. One thing I do think - they are the only other NZ auction site (in my opinion) that have gone about it the right way. They aren't just a knock off site offering lower fees, they actually have features that are better than TM and a interface that is on par. :2cents: |

Trademe are a auction site we are not we are classifieds. We dont charge, we didnt copy ebay. So how exactly are we a clone of trademe? We created swapshop because we didnt like TM rules so we dont have those rules. Swapshop was created in 2004 and is doing well, we have been in the press and dominion post. We listen to our users, we create a site that is for users not to make money. So exactly how are we a clone?
