449716 2006-04-26 10:48:00 Hi All
Over the last couple of weeks I have been receiving mail in the example below

Subject :thankless

From :Steve Solis [vkaf@fhuikeshoven.nl]

To :blobblob@xtra.co.nz

There is then an inserted picture containing a whole pile of text imploring me to buy/trade/take great interest in the shares listed.
Each time I get one of these e-mails, the subject and sender is different, making it difficult to block them
I have had several of my customers talk of receiving similar e-mail.
Has anyone out there in F1 land had these and found a way to stop them.

Here's hoping

Most people get some spam email that slips through ISP filters, just delete them.

449719 2006-04-26 11:31:00 I get those emails too. They get marked as spam by Orcon, but so do half of my valid emails. They always slip through thunderbird's junk filter Greven (91)

449721 2006-04-27 07:36:00 Get something like Poptray (http://www.poptray.org) which also acts as an email notifier program (it shows u how many emails you receive), without u having to open OE, or Outlook, or any other email program.

And lets u preview / blacklist / whitelist / reply to emails, and delete emails.

Or Spampal (http://www.spampal.org) same as above, but doesnt notify u of new emails. Or let u reply to emails (I think).

BUT, Spampal can be a bit harder to configure than Poptray too.

Either one of these will let u blacklist a whole ISP/domain.

Or whitelist mate's / valid emails.
