| 449631 | 2006-04-26 07:22:00 | ok im trying to setup video output on my windows xp pro computer, using the gfx card: SiS 650_651_M650_M652_740 i looked through some manuals and they said it would automatically setup but it didnt, can anyone tell me how to set it up please, thanks |

Is DirectX not working (dxdiag)? SIS is the chipset on your GFX card. What model is your GFX card? You might want to consider it a cosmic hint to upgrade your video card. :) |

You might want to consider it a cosmic hint to upgrade your video card. :) its not mine im jsut hleping a friend ^_^, his tv just shows all the random verticle lines and it occasionally tunrs into blue lines, other times it jsut doesnt output at all, and Direct X9.0c installed and worknig 100% fine. I would try booting into safe mode, and see if the problem temporarily goes away, and reduce the refresh rate and /or resolution. www.microsoft.com It sounds like the driver might be "over-driving" the monitor at too high a refresh rate / resolution. Either that or there's another physical problem. |
