I guess it's hard to answer a "why do you exist" question without taking it personal. As they say "there's no such thing as bad press." Still a barely legible post doesn't improve a company's reputation. Hope you ran it past the owner / manager first, if you're not in that position. . |

Not quite sure what you are saying but isnt that the point of a forum? We have merely defended who and what Swapshop . co . nz is . We are not a clone . Keep it professional please . Your user? Our user? Who? If you notice that person is a new member also? And not clone, Copy was the word used . Youre not winning any friends by being unprofessional yourself . It seems being new to a forum and posting politely is not possible . . . . . . so maybe we need to think about things before we post? Yes my grammar is bad but most of this is due to lack of sleep and late night coding . Yes I took offence to be called a copy, why two years worth of work to be called a copy . Yes we take pride in what we are doing . We arent here to offend but felt we needed to defend us site . We are not web dev or coders but are self taught . So WYSIWYG . Yes I own swapshop so yes I have the right to defend the site . I am not interested in bad press but merely noticed the trail of users hitting us site . So to all those affended with apologise for that . Swapshop is simply a free site and yes the google adsense is to recoop the cost of running a site . To create a site like ours or some of the other sites means that people are trying to accomplish a goal so I wouldnt call them copies just a few switched on people . So I say good on them . Anyway prides got in the way this time . . . . . so again apologies from Admins at swapshop . co . nz |

Swapshopclassifieds merely commented that his/her website operates quite differently to trademe.co.nz, and a lot of people seemed to have issues with that.
