| 449708 | 2006-04-27 21:51:00 | I wouldnt run too many firewalls. They'll conflict. Looks like you're running 3 of them. Zonealarm, Nortons Firewall, and NIS. You only need 1. Get rid of 2 of them. Uninstall them. Run hijackthis, tick these entries and tick fix checked. Close browser/s. O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background Also look in control panel / admin tools / services. As stated in my previous post. Has the Norton/Symantec proxy stopped? Double click on its entry. |

| 449709 | 2006-04-28 06:28:00 | Maybe yeah, maybe not. I have few firewalls but they slow my internet speed down and I uninstaled NIS. ADSL Router have firewall too and I use Zone Labs that improves my speed a little but security is OK now I guess. | MTLance (6768) | ||
