If a person gets the message from trying to install the OS on more than 1 PC, with a single user licence - they obviously (which very few people do) have not read the license that they agree to when the OS is being installed. Thats fine Wainuitech, but as I said in another post Microsoft werent interested in the fact that I had my original XP Disk sitting on my desk. As far as they were concerned I had replaced the motherboard and the CD was married to the shot Motherboard. :( Imagine if every time you replace a part of you car you had to re-register it. :dogeye: |

And if the burner dies, and you buy another burner, Nero will work BUT it wont give you the option, to select the burner to burn to. Since, it's tied to the original burner Only way you're going to fix is, is to change the serial, or buy / download another version of Nero, from the Nero site |

There are ways around that though - you just have to know what to say when asked the questions - or as I do have a "pre prepared" explanation I waffle off while they are checking the key (depending on whats gone wrong) - dont wait for them to ask. Normally I get the reply - thank you sir for that information - here is your new key, I will read it out three numbers at a time - click in Box A --------- |

And yes Speedy, I had that trouble with NERO too so out it went and in went CD BurnerXP. A far better programme too. ;) No doubt about it, some of these Software Companies get carried away with their own importance and then sulk when people give them the big two fingered salute. ;) |
