2008-11-25 23:18:00 | Spyware can cause windows to do that as well, even if the License is legit. Get all the antimalware scanners from my sig, install, update run and remove anything they find. If you have a look back Speedy mentioned on 6/5/08 a patch Download from here (www.microsoft.com fc%2fa%2f9%2fca9f5c43-a0d8-44ad-abe7-4eb09932aac1%2fWindowsXP-KB905474-ENU-x86-Standalone.exe)

2008-11-25 23:28:00 | Umm I wouldnt call that a patch, (did I give a link for that)? I think the person wants to get rid of that, not install it. The file I was talking about removes it from the system, it doesnt install (KB905474) Thats one reason why you shouldnt leave automatic updates, on auto. It installs crap like this :p

2008-11-25 23:49:00 | :p There was no link, but the KB number was there, its the actual Windows GA - The site (support.microsoft.com) tells you if you scroll down a bit how it works in the case of the "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting" Message. Thats of course as long as the License key is Legit in the first place, and if you have the actual key then its also a simple call to MS to sort it - mind you had a problem with office yesterday - called MS and bloody hell talk about getting the 3rd degree :crying

2008-12-14 10:32:00 | Very simple to solve...First download hijack this then do a safe reboot. Second, scroll to "020 - Winlogon Notity: Wgalogon" select this and click fix checked. This will take care of that annoying pop up! Now on to the black screen and that irritating Microsoft executable in the bottom right. The pathway is C:\Windows\System 32\ wgatray.exe. Finally reboot and your back to where you were...hope you enjoy being a pirate!

2008-12-14 20:28:00 | Pirating is one thing, but being accused of Pirating when you're perfectly legit is quite another. :( | B.M. (505) | |
2008-12-14 20:38:00 | Pirating is one thing, but being accused of Pirating when you're perfectly legit is quite another. :( Thats totally TRUE - and fully correct - but remember its only a Code thats saying something is not legit - not an actual person standing there waving their finger :D If the person has a legit License then theres no problem and easily fixed. If a person gets the message from trying to install the OS on more than 1 PC, with a single user licence - they obviously (which very few people do) have not read the license that they agree to when the OS is being installed.
