| 449900 | 2006-04-27 03:36:00 | I have recently purchased a NEC Versa E3100 laptop and find that the touchpad curser seems to have a mind of its own. The curser only needs to pass over a file or application and said file is opened, etc. I find that i need to use the mouse/USB to get positive control, but understand that this could be a heavier user of battery power. Is there some way of reducing the sensitivity of the touchpad? Cheers Gary |

| 449901 | 2006-04-27 05:50:00 | hi garyaster There s/be a touchpad icon on the task bar. R/Click on it, go to controls, and you can change sensitivity, speed etc there. It's similar to what you do for your mouse. Cheers. |

| 449903 | 2006-04-27 15:02:00 | if you are using Windows XP, try going into Control panel, click on printers and other hardware, then click on mouse properties. Check out the tabs. There may be tabs applying to your touchpad there. I don't have your make but Windows XP should show it up in the same place. Otherwise contact NEC support. Cheers |
