449793 2006-04-26 21:00:00 I deleted Freshdownload and thought I had got rid of everything but now
have installed the latest and registered etc. When the manager page loads
the popup from the previous version with the no of days and registration details
also comes up.Where is it hiding ??.Have tried spybot startup and unticked freshdownload entries to no avail

That post was to ** bump ** your topic to the top of the list, so some one who know more can help you with your issue.

449797 2006-04-27 04:01:00 There should be a "Register" button on that pop-up. Enter your username and registration code here.
These will have been sent to you from freshdevices.com when you downloaded the program, so make sure your spam filter is set to allow that address through.

449798 2006-04-27 04:51:00 It is nothing like that.
I have installed and put in the reg no on the new install but a popup comes up with the old registration details and the fact that I have used it 414 days.
I feel I may have to learn to live with it.Annoying rather than a disaster.

449799 2006-04-27 05:03:00 Use a registry cleaner to delete bits of the old one left behind. A search on G should find plenty. I use Regcleaner 4.3, but don't think it is still available. Peter H (220)
449800 2006-04-27 05:11:00 I have 2 top reg cleaners and of coarse ran them when the problem 1st appeared. kjaada (253)
449801 2006-04-27 05:14:00 I would uninstall it again, then delete its folder. Then go into the registry, and delete the freshdevice entries for it.

Then use ccleaner, and use its registry cleaner. Then reinstall the latest version of Freshdownload.

When u say u deleted it, in the first post, did you UNINSTALL it first??

NOT just delete the folder it was in?? There's a diff.

449802 2006-04-27 05:24:00 I will try again BUT the first install 414 days ago was on one drive and the
new install was on another. On looking at CCleaner it shows the offender is still on the 1st drive and it appears to resist everything I throw at it.
