| 449727 | 2006-04-26 23:37:00 | Socket 939 will give you more upgradeability in the future. If you go socket 754 then they top out at around the Athlon 64 3700+. If you go with a 939 then they are still producing cpu's with that socket at the moment and the X2 and FX dual core chips will be available for upgrade later. :2cents: |

It has a higher clock speed but that doesnt equate to more raw power. |
