| 449439 | 2006-04-25 23:42:00 | I have reciently upgraded to a new sytem which is working great except for one point, I enjoy playing IL2 Pacific fighters flight sim, on my old system i was able to run this game on max setting using a ati radeon 9800 video card with 512mb ddr ram and a amd 1.9 processsor with no slowing of frame rates, i am aware that these types of game are graphics hungry but there were no problems, I have upgraded to a newer system an am now using a g force 6200se card with 1 gb of ddr ram and a 3.6 p4 processor, whilst things look better (detail wise) when running the game the frame rate has dropped significantly. I have dropped the settings to the lowest but still the frame rate is low enough to be annoying, i have downloaded latest drivers, no change there, can anyone help as i would have thought things would be better, also I am not too computer savy so a dumbies type guide would help cheers |

| 449441 | 2006-04-25 23:55:00 | The problem will be the 6200se graphics card. While it may support a newer directx version and so can make the picture look better it is a slower card than the 9800. Which version of the 9800 did you have? 9800Pro, 9800xt?? |
