| 451050 | 2006-05-01 05:09:00 | Gidday, I use both Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and destroy which has detected and removed some spyware, however when i scan the next day the spyware is back again. Does anyone know how to get rid of them permanently? |

| 451054 | 2006-05-01 05:29:00 | For a start, it looks like your running two AV clients, AVG and Nortons. You should only ever run one AV at a time, even having two installed and one disabled can cause havoc. And, if you find your resources getting a bit low, slowish sartup, hard drive thrashing at time, etc, noble this little baby from MS Office - O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE |

| 451055 | 2006-05-01 05:39:00 | Agree with Murray regarding removing one of the anti-virus programs and if the Nortons Suite you have includes a firewall then you will need to remove one of those as well . As far as the HJT log goes my quick scan reveals only a couple of BHOs that need removing but wait for Speedy's instructions . The only other concern I have is that you have HJT installed in a temporary folder - you should install it to its own folder, as per my previous post . Exactly what spyware is returning and how do you know it is spyware? |

There are a couple of "no name? BHO's loading which could be something sus . Can't see anything else except your Java is out of date and vulnerable, get the latest Jre2 from Sun and, you have a bucketload of useless stuff starting up at Windows start, which must drag your system down to some extent . What is the name of the spyware that keeps returning?? |
