| 450940 | 2006-04-30 23:27:00 | Am I going dotty?? Now don't laugh but over the last few months my cursor seems to have developed the knack of collecting lines and rows of dots alongside it which is irritating the you know what out of me! This also manifests at times by making horizontal lines on the monitor and making the screen go lighter showing the dots. I don't recall this beginning after any particular download but can't honestly be positive of that. I've run virus checks galore (Nortons), anti spam programmes (Spy Bot) and Nuker Xt with no joy. This happened on my Viewsonic monitor and now happens on the Philips monitor I have so that tends to rule out a monitor problem. I run XP Pro with SP2. If anyone can help out I would be extremely grateful :badpc: |
