450164 2006-04-28 04:46:00 Shouldn't the Xtra dialup prices drop as broadband prices have dropped?...... :( What kind of monopoly is Telecom running? Anyone agree with me :D?

Edit: My 200th post :D!!!!!!!!

450165 2006-04-28 04:54:00 Well, BB maybe cheaper, but the plans, and speeds are crap....

I'd rather wait for ADSL2 to arrive

Or move to Oz, Hong Kong, Korea, or Sweden :waughh:

Where you'll get value for money.

Oh? What prices dropped? You mean their $29.95 offering? For a whole 200mb of data?
None of the rest dropped (not counting business plans), it was just supposed to get faster, and even that didn't work for everyone....
As to what kind.....the same monopoly they've been running for 15 years now?

450167 2006-04-28 07:39:00 Currently dialup is better value then the xtra adsl plans, especially the 200mb joke. Surely people who spend good hard earned money with telecom would wish for more then a few minutes a month of usable ADSL.... Metla (12)

450173 2006-04-28 09:10:00 why would they drop dial up prices they see it as old technology adn so are trying to encourage you to switch to adsl the high dialup price is perhaps not going to change in order to discourage use of dial up so they dont have to maintain those systems much longer ? drcspy (146)
