450823 2006-04-30 04:23:00 Hi folks. Running XP Pro with Office Suite 2003 etc. All the latest bells and whistles. When I open Windows Explorer with a pictures or graphics folder and click on the Views option I have the options of Filmstrip, Thumbnails, Tiles, etc. A distant friend who claims to have an identical setup is only offered the Thumbnails, Tiles, etc - no Filmstrip. Although I have downloaded several options, such as the Toys:Resize tool, etc., I can't recall ever downloading anything to modify the View option. Anyone help with an answer as to how I ended up with this frequently used option? He (we) can't find out how. We're both getting old Thanks. Scouse (83)

450825 2006-04-30 04:33:00 Folder contents can only be viewed in the 'Filmstrip' mode if the folder is a 'Picture' type folder.

To customise a folder, you will need right click on the folder you wish to customise, go to the Customise tab & under 'What kind of folder do you want?', choose 'Pictures (best for many files)'.

You should now be able to view the folder contents using the Filmstrip mode.
