Installing the latest Win XP Pro update altered my user accounts, could not print to networked printer, and what else? I used System Restore to put matters to rights, but the automatic update keeps demanding that I instal the update. Do I need this update? What should I do? My other computer running XP Home was not affected. Thanks. |

What update was it?
You can always parmanently manually update XP and then choose NOT to install this particular update. (or any other updates for that matter) |

Yes, thanks, friend. It was the update that tells you whether your copy of windows is legal. I junked it! It's annoying, though, isn't it, when an update changes your settings for free. I think they should warn us about that. |
