| 451177 | 2006-05-03 04:25:00 | I'm guessing you're referring to something like weather / traffic / astronomical images webcams. I'm sure there's other ways to do this, but I'd "roll my own" and use some form of scheduled task. From Windows IIS, it's under Control Panel... Scheduled Tasks -or- Start... Run... Cmd At /? If it's just one image overwriting another, then hopefully your webcam has a DOS command line utility, like C:\MyWebCam\Capture.exe -image C:\Inetpub\mywebsite\myimages\beach.jpg If it's to keep the last three images, plus current Del C:\Inetpub\mywebsite\myimages\beach3.jpg Ren C:\Inetpub\mywebsite\myimages\beach2.jpg beach3.jpg Ren C:\Inetpub\mywebsite\myimages\beach.jpg beach2.jpg C:\MyWebCam\Capture.exe -image C:\Inetpub\mywebsite\myimages\beach.jpg It really depends on your web cam. Might want to look into this software: * TWAIN Commander (Windows) * Capture 'Em! (Windows) * Dorgem (Windows) * webcam (Linux / Unix Command) |
