451629 2006-05-05 02:22:00 It is strange that a well-developed country such as NZ only has one international link. I have been previously aware of this and of the fact that this is why our international usage is always capped. However, can't more links be established one way or another? I suppose it's easier said than done but it'll probably be something which'll have to happen in the near future.

I thought NZ Has more then one international link?? :illogical :waughh:

Those were the days :)

And in 1995 IBM NZ were charging $30 per month for 3 hours 14.4kbps dial up, and $5/hour excess.
Fortunately I had a "free" account as an IBM sub-user on an IBM CAINET Canadian account where over there they charged $30 for 30 hours, that is, until sub-user rules were changed some 3 years later.
