2006-05-02 06:05:00 | I terminated my Xtra broadband services (still maintaining my email account) about 3 months ago as I was away overseas. Came back yesterday and found that my broadband still active and I am using it now!! Checked and found that there were no charges (broadband) for the last few months- that's in order. Do I have to inform that I'm back home and continue using their services? But I intend to change to another company, though. Any brilliant suggestions??

Just out of curiosity, when they accidently left it on, did they leave you on your old speed, or give you full speed ADSL? |

2006-05-02 12:28:00 | I recalled that when checking my email overseas, they sent me an email telling me that my speed will be increased in April - (something to that effect) . Could be just a standard notice ???

2006-05-02 12:29:00 | Well, in that case, I would definitely NOT complain!!!! Was talking to a Telecom ex-tech who, when he left, gave himself full speed uncapped ADSL. Very minimal chance of getting caught, as they never check each connection to see who is connected at what speed. Far too many connections to do that. | roddy_boy (4115) | |
2006-05-02 12:32:00 | Just got that 2nd post... Are you connected at full speed (~8Mbps) or 3.5Mbps? | roddy_boy (4115) | |
