| 451979 | 2006-05-04 05:18:00 | Hi, My connection has reciently been put up to 3.5mb/s. When it went up, it didn't go to 3.5mb/s, but 600kb/s. It has once gone up to 1.5mb/s, but normally just stays around 600kb/s. The connection speed changes slightly every time I connect (every time my router is started up). Does anyone know what would be causing this? Thanks, Sparq |

Thanks, Sparq Just to let you know you connection is 3.5mbps (mega bits a sec, not megabytes a sec) so 600kps is correct. the max speed of my 2mbps line is 250kb/s try this speed test www.speakeasy.net it will show you both figures, Mbps and Kbps |
